Peritoneal mesothelioma or cancer of the lining of the abdomen causes an impaired bowel movement, bloating, swelling of the feet and nausea. This is less common in patients with mesothelioma and affects one-third of mesothelioma patients. Pericardial mesothelioma is cancer of the inner wall of the heart. It is also due to the fact that exposure to asbestos. However, its prevalence is rare. Pericardial mesothelioma manifest in the form of chest pain, palpitations, cough, and dyspnea.
